Häntä pidettiin rauhallisena ja yhtyettä tasapainottavana voimana. Rolling Stonesissa lähes alusta saakka vaikuttanut Wyman erosi yhtyeestä vuonna 1991 ja on sen jälkeen esiintynyt ja levyttänyt satunnaisesti Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings -kokoonpanon kanssa. Wyman on kirjoittanut lukuisia kirjoja.
