थेलेसीमिया (अंग्रेज़ी:Thalassemia) बच्चों को माता-पिता से अनुवा...थेलेसीमिया (अंग्रेज़ी:Thalassemia) बच्चों को माता-पिता से अनुवांशिक तौर पर मिलने वाला रक्त-रोग है। इस रोग के होने पर शरीर की हीमोग्लोबिन निर्माण प्रक्रिया में गड़बड़ी हो जाती है जिसके कारण रक्तक्षीणता के लक्षण प्रकट होते हैं। इसकी पहचान तीन माह की आयु के बाद ही होती है। इसमें रोगी बच्चे के शरीर में रक्त की भारी कमी होने लगती है जिसके कारण उसे बार-बार बाहरी खून चढ़ाने की आवश्यकता होती है।
